Inspired by a gift – an authentic Asian horn necklace – Zurich-based Israeli designer Yael Nadiv founded her own label, Yael Nadiv Jewelry, in 2008. This traditionally handcrafted necklace: the natural and warm horn, the lightness of the material and the special patterns and colors captivated Yael‘s senses from the first moment. It was love at first sight, a piece of jewelry Yael had been seeking for a long time.

Except – it lacked qualities of design, a sense of balance, accuracy of proportions and a touch of class. And this is where Yael‘s new journey began: her first own collection of jewelry made from horn, inspired by a love of Asian decorative arts as well as a passion for Indian, Persian and European architectural ornamentation. A blend of textural opulence and perceptible luxury.
